Role

Description

Suchmann

Event Coordinator

 kekoaskye

Facilities Manager

Be in charge of setting up the table, and taking it down at the end of the event.

 combatnurse2003

Event Marshal

Be in charge of watching the time and announcing when people need to move to the next mini event (meal, photo, raffle, etc.) This person is very important, so we don't reach the end of the 15 minutes without getting everything done. 15 minutes is the rule!

You don't have to have a loud voice to do this! I have a nice megaphone you can use.

The Suchmates

DJ

Be in charge of providing a boom box and loading it with caching music.

You can find the official WWFM III theme, the PodCacher Caching PUMP, and another song here.

At the event, be in charge of setting up the boom box on the table, and taking it away at the end of the event.

Backwards Charlie from Austin

Trackable Item Manager

Watch the trackables and see that they are handled properly. Decide whether there will be trading or just discovering.

We don't want to mix trackables with the general swag bucket. We'll lay them out on the table so they're easily seen and can be controlled.

Mrs. Captain Picard

Raffler

At the designated time, pick log sheets (one at a time), call out the names, and give the winners their prizes.

MCP is collecting prizes now. Please donate!

Tygress will be collecting prizes at the HiDude event GC1AWZW on Saturday the 26th.

Semper Questio

Secretary (I'm no longer listing you as "tentative", since it sounds like you're planning to be there, to get my PathTag!)

Stay close to Julie during the raffle and record who won what. That way she doesn't have to wait for each person to claim their prize before drawing the next one, and we can post a winners' list after the event.

Moosiegirl (?)

Food Services Manager

Decide what the “meal” will consist of, obtain the food and packaging, prepare, and bring to the event. You don’t have to fund it, unless you just want to make a donation. At the designated time, hand out the "meal".

Note: if Moosiegirl thought she was signing up for arranging the post-event meal at another location, THIS POSITION MAY STILL BE OPEN.

SEMIK

Videographer

Coordinate the acquisition of video and audio. Edit a highlights video, incorporating still photos of the event if available and helpful, and post on YouTube. Produce master DVD that can be copied for event attendees. Full-length, real-time video optional, posting to other hosting services optional, making DVD copies optional.

Enlist assistants as needed. Suchmann is planning to shoot on DVCAM format from the top of the grassy knoll.

Doc Geo

Photographer

Coordinate the acquisition of still images of the event. Plan and coordinate the group photo (very important). Provide images on CD to SEMIK for use in video. Upload photos to Flickr or other photo hosting service.

Enlist assistants as needed.

dirich92

Swag Master

Manage swag bucket. Contact Di if you have any swag to contribute.

Moosiegirl offered to provide a 5 gallon bucket for swag trading

Tygress

Artist in residence

Provide art for the cache listing. (Done: magnificent!)

SoaringEagle

Log Master

Hand out and collect log sheets, deliver to Raffler for use in the raffle, then turn in to Suchmann.

The plan: SoaringEagle is providing the log sheet design, ready for printing, to the Outlaw, who will print the log sheets on Rite in the Rain paper, and Moosiegirl will deliver the log sheets to SoaringEagle, along with commemorative pencils.
